I was always told not to be a doctor, they are all miserable. I joined the Air Force to avoid debt. I chose my med school since it was the only one where students were socializing and exercising. When it was time to leave the military, I wasn't sure what next. Some old mentors had DPC clinics. I joined a DPC to learn the ropes, but then he laid me off to hire some less expensive APPs, so I was off to start my very own practice! Becoming the boss has been awesome.
